I've work an ordinary, functional fanny-pack-turned-around for 20 years, since before stores sold "belt packs," and finally looked for something nicer and more streamlined. It seemed kind of expensive, but was exactly what I was looking for so I chanced it. I'm so glad I bought it! I made one modification: I got a brass clip with a ring on it from the hardware store, fastened the belt around the ring, and now I can take it on and off fast by clipping it to the ring instead of using all those pretty snaps every time.
