   I couldn't believe it. This bag shipped all the way to New York in just 7 days!! It is the perfect size for everything that I need to carry with me. It can be worn with a pair of jeans, a dress, anything really. I love that it allows me to have my hands free and prevents me from doing something stupid - like leaving my purse on the back of my chair when I leave a restaurant (which I have done on more than one occasion). I also like that it has a separate and quickly accessible pocket that fits my cell phone perfectly.

   I have a bad right shoulder which happens to be the side I always carried my purse on (I couldn't do the left side, I tried). After seeing a hip bag on Fiona in the show Burn Notice I wanted to check them out. After looking through reviews on Happy Cows hip bag I was sold. I get compliments constantly on my hip bag, even people that would be put off by the thought initially because they automatically think of "fanny packs" love the bag. My shoulder gets a break, my outfits get a style boost and I am a fan for life. Thank you Happy Cow!

   I looked for a long time for that perfect hip bag, and this really is it. It holds everything, looks good with everything, comfortable, versatile, stylish and well organized. My one complaint is that it's difficult to know what colours the leathers are when you're ordering online (it would really be nice to have some sort of colour guide!). I ordered a chocolate and got what looks like dark brown. But honestly, the style is so awesome I don't even mind.

   Being a big burn notice fan I really wanted this bag! I recieved this on X-mas as a gift from my husband. It arrived quickly to his surprise. I have been useing this bag since X-mas and have gotten so many complements. I love how it looks with a sweater dress, or just about anything I have on. I am known to forget my bag in the past, but now I don't even have to think about it.
   I went back and forth about getting this bag, being almost 100% vegan I didn't know how to feel about it. I spoke to them on fb and they assured me I am helping reduce waste and the people that own the company are vegetarians. So I made the choice to go ahead. Granted this is the only leather item I own. I gave away my coach bags and knowing this one is reduceing waste & the company is vegetarian will keep me coming back.

    I bought this bag for my wife after she commented a few dozen times about Fiona's bag on burn notice.i found the bag on happy cow about a week before Christmas. Placed my order, not believing it would ever arrive on time. I have to say the got it to me from Australia to the US a week before Christmas, with free shipping with 2 days to spare. Couldn't be happier with the company.
    The bag itself is exactly what she wanted and has not left her side since Christmas. Gone are the days of "honey, can you hold my purse?" The hip bag has plenty of room for her keys, phone, checkbook, makeup, and more. All organized and streamlined. That's not even mentioning the sexy factor this hip bag seems to add, or the wonderful leather craftsmanship. Thank you happy cow, you have earned a lifetime customer

    I bought my dark brown happy cow bag as a self indulgence gift and I love it! and being a vegetarian I was happy to support a company that uses recycled leather (this was actually a major selling point for me). When my bag arrived I was excited to see that it was a beautiful color and good craftsmanship. I had been a little nervous that it would be slightly bulky but it's not! Even more, it fits all the things I need for everyday life with great pockets for cell phones and iPods. I'm so glad that I bought this bag, it's amazing :)

    WOW - I got my chocolate hip bag today.. only 2 days after I ordered it. As with everything purchased off the internet site unseen, I was a little apprehensive with what I was going to see. So... before I even get to the bag. I love the box it came in. The "Your Happy Cow is patiently grazing inside" statement had my friend and I in stitches and it was time to bite the bullet and open the box. The first thing that hit me was the beautiful smell of leather. Then I picked up my bag. The leather is so so soft, the colour is perfect - exactly what I hoped for and more. The quality of the stitching is amazing. It is everything I hoped it would be plus 100%.
    I originally bought the bag as I had seen a similar one on Burn Notice and thought it looked cool. Then I figured it would be great for a cruise I am going on. The more I wear it, the more I realise how perfect for everyday living it is. Particularly so as a motorbike rider, this is one way I can take my "handbag" with me on rides.

    I thought that the leather was very thin and will wear easily and not last long. I was pleased with the size and overall design, just disappointed that I don't think it will hold up and last as long as I would expect a leather bag of that price to.

    The hip bag outdoes the other waist or hip bags like those from Gucci or YSL as they are more spacious, hold more things and not cumbersome. Also, it can be used without your having to worry about it being stripped from you as it does not have a "blaring" logo that attracts attention!! The little wallet that it comes with is so practical! LOVE THE BAG!!!!!!!

    I orders this for my girlfriend along with two other items. I was worried that it wouldn't get here in time from Australia to Texas so I called and asked. Whoever I spoke to was totaly had totaly awesome customer service and assured me it would get there. 4 days later it arrived. I couldn't believe the quality of the bag and how great the leather was. Now I'm wondering if it can be slightly customized for a particular use if so I'm definatly ordering more. Thank guys for all your help.

    Bought this for my daughter for christmas 2011. Even though she didn't give me much time to order it. Everything went smoothly with Happy Cow. 21. Simple Convenience at last!

    The Happy Cow hip bag has been a blessing! My partner has never been fond of traditional 'over the shoulder' strapped bags, and quite often I will end up being the 'goods carrier' once her upper body starts to ache. When I heard about Happy Cow's belt-designed bags, I jumped online & found the Hip Bag's style, size & colour range to be perfect! Arriving in time for Christmas (only waited 4 days for delivery!), my partner LOVED it! It fits everything she needs; phone, purse, & I'm sure she's crammed many other secretive women's neccessities in there too!     I was so happy when my Hip Bag came in the mail. It's a great bag with good storage space that allows me to go hands free while in the field for work and on some Geocaching adventures. The quality of the bag is good, though I do wish the pocket on the front was a little bigger to fit my phone. The strap is also very, very long (my hips are 29") and doesn't secure well for long durations and high activity. Though it does fit my waist size. Other than that I love the bag and it's a great to start to my future Happy Cow collection!

    This is a great belted bag. Its well made and big enough to store everything you need without being too bulky. It was the perfect bag for my trip around Puerto Rico. I wore it hiking in the rainforest, took it to the beach and wore it out at night. Couldn't be happier!

    I have been using hip bags or fanny packs for years and they are all pretty much the same. This one is perfect - it is well designed to hold all of my things, is secure and is just perfect for everyday use.

    This is my second Leather Hip Bag. I completely wore out the first one. The design is great for a person on the go that wants to have their hands free. It is also nice to grab and through over the shoulder like a purse when desired.

    I love this bag! I wear it everyday, and it has totally replaced my purse.     I received my Hip bag quickly considering where it was coming from. I couldn't wait to use it! I wear it at photo shoots and keep my personal items in to lessen the weight of my camera bag (and keeps me from loosing my lens caps).     My husband bought this for me for my birthday, because I wanted Fiona's hip bag (from the show Burn Notice). I love it! I've been using it for more then a year now, and it's held up well. My only complaint is some fraying of the thread of the front flap. I would gladly buy it again!

    I saw this bag on Burn Notice (our new fav show) Fiona is so bad#%@; love her but more importantly after having surgery on both shoulder's I don't want to carry a purse.     When I first saw this bag on Burn Notice I told my husband "I need that bag!". I googled until I found it. It looked super handy. When I got it in the mail I was very pleased with the speedy delivery. It is a very durable bag, super good quality. I expect to be wearing this for a long time. The pockets are extremely useful. It is very comfortable to wear. You can't go wrong with this bag!

    This bag is amazing. As a larger girl (size 18 Australian) I bought the m/l and it has plenty of strap left over. It fits my phone my sunglasses (without a case but there is a pocket for them) and the happy cow Wallet easily it's small and convenient. I do a lot of charity work in the way of sausage sizzles etc. it's nice I can keep my purse on me all day without it adding pressure to my back and not worry about my purse being stolen. It is compact and unobtrusive. I can't recommend highly enough

    I looked forward to receiving my bag since i decided on the colour i wanted. I love love love it and it's so practical with two young kids. I no longer have to cart around so many bags on my poor shoulders. The only fault i would mention (i'm not sure if i just overuse it - but only had it a couple of weeks) the stitching has started to fray already and i am slightly worried about one of my poppers. It is a bit wobbly. Also as i am a lefty it took me a bit to get used to wearing it on my opposite side. I really hope you get the distressed chocolate back in stock as i will be ordering that too. thanks

    After ordering my hip bag I waited with anticipation for it's arrival. A speedy delivery and all that was waiting was to road test my newest accessory...soon to become my friend :) So i strapped her on and away we went...$2 Tues night tacos and beer. The housemates were up for the tacos and beer but the first test...hands free walking...they weren't so keen on. The whole way there I talked about the benefits of my new hip bag; how my hips carry all the weight, that the colour (dark brown) co ordinates with everything,that it makes me look quite intrepid (a look I was going for at the time) and that all my bits fit perfectly. I even noted that cart wheeling was an option at this time (if I knew how) as my hands were noticeably free to do so if i in fact I felt like taking up this new hobby. I also insisted on repeating the fact that i kept feeling like I left my bag at home. I also felt like a lead singer of a band when he breaks a string on his guitar and continues singing while someone restrings...you know how they stand there all awkward not knowing what to do with their hands. Well that was me...but no singing...or guitar, just a girl without her handbag awkwardly hanging off her. At dinner I went to get up to grab another taco (clearly famished from the walk) and went to say to the girls 'can you watch my bag'. Ha! No longer do I need to rely on intoxicated friends keeping an eye on my valuables. I also realised at this point how great the bag will be on a night out...test 2. No longer do I need to leave my hand bag lying around on a chair or dancing around a pile of them on the dance floor while I bust a move and nor do i need to worry about having one too many reds and heading home without it. I know I can wake up in the morning with no recollection of the night before but still know my belongs are safe as i roll out of bed in the morning with my bag still safely attached :) I originally purchased the bag for an up coming overseas adventure but its safe to say the mateship has started much earlier and developed into so much more. The handbag has been shoved under the bed and my new hip bag has taken its place as my keeper of all the things precious :)
47. Fashionable + practicality = Awesome!

    I really enjoyed using this hip bag, I found it was practical to use for anything from a nice long walk, to music festivals to hard core travelling. It was so nice to finally have my shoulders free, and to comfortably carry the weight on my hips. I could fit just about every precious thing into it when overseas, so there was a lot less to worry about. My only criticisms would be that, when wearing it a lot, I could end up feeling lop sided, I think a moveable pouch would be better, so you can swap sides (to reduce back strain). Also I was caught in heavy rain, and the red stained leather colour ran onto my white clothes, staining them. So colour-fast in any weather would be great! Overall, a fab bag <3

    I admit: I'm one of these crazy ppl who saw Burn Notice and went for the bag. It's the first time I bought something based on a TV Show and I don't regret it. I use my Hip Bags every day. My friend ordered one in black and we simply don't want to leave the house without it! Also the Bag is ideal for cycling. Thanks Happy Cow
    
    One fact is not so excellent though: I live in Germany, so I got a little surprised how much taxes I had to pay for my bag. It added up to an amount of roughly 70€ per bag! Plus I had to got to the tax office at 7 AM in the morning to fetch my Happy Cow order!
    
    But all in all it was worth it!

    Bought this bag on a whim, as I needed something small and versatile. This bag is well made, thoughtfully designed and easy to wear. The two slip pockets are great for phones and anything needed quickly, the rest offer useful storage 'on the go'. Great purchase and the product arrived sooner than anticipated. Good to know the leather is recycled, so it is a 'win-win' situation. I'll be buying from you again!

    I can not say enough good things about my new bag. It is exactly what I wanted and is even better than I expected.     Love this Hip purse. Have had multiple complements on it and people wanting to know where to get one. The only draw back its the one belt loop that is not fixed quickly stretched out and wouldn't stay in place. I had to have it stitched down to the belt. At the price, I shouldn't have had to spend additional money for this.

    This Hip Bag is wonderful. It is soft, well made and carries everything I need for my busy days.     I bought this hip bag so I could have easy access to my personal items while on my motorcycle. It's proven a great choice and I love how it keeps me 'hands-free' when I scoot around town. It holds all the essentials and doesn't leave room for 'junk' like my large handbag does. I love this bag so much I am seriously considering getting the Put-It-All pouch to add to the collection... now to decide on color. ;)

    Just wish there was a size M. With the S/M, I had to wear it on the last hole and it wouldn't go down my hips very far. But the M/L belt seems extra long (I have it on the 2nd hole and then have to wrap the "extra" belt back under the belt loop).
    
    So I might take it to my shoe repair guy to cut off some of the belt ...

    I purchased this bag as I did love the Fiona style from Burn Notice and loved the idea of a hands free bag. It is perfect!! I took it travelling and I felt my stuff was safer as it was right on me and I could cover it with my jacket, and also it meant I was free to be adventurous while still being able to carry my essential items. I am so pleased with the quality, the softness of the leather, and the fit. I am a big hipped woman and the M/L fits perfect, and with a few notches to spare. I like how one of the front inside pockets is slightly bigger than the others. It accommodates an iPhone with case perfectly. I like the smaller pocket is great for some make up.

    I fell in love with the idea of a hip bag when watching Burn Notice like many of the other reviewers. I searched high and low for a similar bag and then found this one. Its just like the ones Fiona wears on the show. I was SOLD :) I've worn it a couple times since getting it. Its hawt! I love it. This hip bag is great, and never gets in the way like my shoulder bag does. Its great for concerts, hiking, running around town, going out with friends. And its pretty sexy.     Probably my favorite bag ever. Its biggest assets are its gorgeous leather quality and the unbelievable comfort you feel carrying it hands free. Only problem for me is to go out with only the minimum stuff, considering it is not really big. I still fit in my wallet, my phone, a pair of glasses and a little make up! Looks just great on almost anything. You should dare!

    I really love this bag. I have always hated purses, and I thought this looked like it may be a good compromise of having carrying power but not having to actually use any hands to do it. It works. I am able to keep a variety of things in it before it poofs out too much and looks too big-- but the space is there to keep much more. I also think this would be amazing for travel. I wish I had had it the last time I was over in the Middle East. There is room for a phone, a camera, your IDs/passport, money, keys, lip gloss, and a couple other emergency items both feminine and practical. I have been using this mostly when I go around and photograph things-- and it is proving to be a durable work bag. A++++++++!

    I use my hip bag everyday. Its is my main purse. I love it. I no longer have to worry about it adjusting a purse on my shoulders, knocking it off with my bags, setting it down somewhere.      In terms of customer service, Happy Cow is excellent. During the process of my order there were a few problems and it took some time to correct. I was satisfied with the outcome though. 128. Swatch color discrepancy

     I ordered two hip bags. One in black and one in "dirty dark red", plus two black magic wallets (which are awesome).
     The black hip bag was everything I expected, although a touch smaller on the inside than I envisioned (I'm not good with that sort of thing).
     However, the "dirty dark red" wasn't really red at all. In fact, it was kind of a yellowish brown. In certain lights it has a very slight red cast to it but throughout it was brown, brown, brown. I even compared a scan of it to the swatch on the site. The swatch is significantly redder than the product! Don't buy this color if you are expecting anyone to glance at it and think "red". However, if brown with a slight red cast that is occasionally yellow is fine with you, then it's a good pick.

     I had to have this bag because it's just like the one Fiona has on Burn Notice! It was great price for a leather item and I received it much faster than I expected.
     
     The craftsmanship of it is great. It holds all the stuff I would need when I'm just running around and need all my essentials but can't have a purse hanging off my shoulder. I love all the hidden pockets and while the leather is very nice quality, it's not as soft as I would like, but I hope to break it in after awhile.

     I love this bag! I have it in Distressed Chocolate. It sits comfortably on my hips, looks fantastic with just about every outfit I own, holds loads of stuff (iPhone, keys, money, even an epipen) without bulging, and is basically the answer to my prayers. Dog-walking, shopping, doing the school run etc are so much more pleasant now that I'm not lugging a shoulder bag around with me.
     Happy Cow's customer service is second to none. I ordered the bag on 28th December and it arrived on 31st December - from Australia to the UK!!! Incredible. I will be ordering it in another colour too. Love from a very, very happy customer xx

     I see a lot of music. When I walk in the door, and when I hanging out with friends, I like to use this as a shoulder bag., it is perfect, I just adjust the belt.
     
     Then when I get to the show, and want my hands free, either for buying drinks or shakin a leg, I throw it over my head and cinch the belt around my waist.
     
     I always get compliments, and I am still loving it just as much as when I got it back in April. The recycled leather is soft, and fits right to my body. You can't go wrong with the Fiona. btw, I had mine first, =)

     I must admit: I bought this bag after seeing it on Burn Notice. It just looked so great on the Fiona character...I ordered it and now use it exclusively as my purse. It is so convenient to just have everything you might need--on your hip! Downsides are that it can be too casual of a look with many outfits and restroom breaks can be kind of a hastle. But all in all, it was well worth it for what, in my area, is a very unique look and a dang practical bag ;)

     I saw Fiona's bag on Burn Notice and realised that a bag like that would alleviate the strain placed on my bad neck by a normal handbag. Web-searching brought me to Happy Cow. The only qualm I have is when I filled all the pockets, the bag wouldn't shut. However, it does look better when it is less full. I wore it last weekend to the soccer and the next day playing at a park with the kids- it was great to not have to worry about the security of my handbag or to have to use a backpag instead.

     I have a bad neck and can no longer wear shoulder bags and I don't like the way 'fanny' packs look. My new hip bag has totally solved these problems. It is very cool looking, the leather is soft, and the way it sits on my hips it looks relatively flat and feels very comfortable.      After having an operation and being unable to carry a normal handbag, i searched high and low to find something i could use. I came accross this belt bag and had to order it. I am so glad i did! In-fact i dont know if i will ever go back to a "normal" handbag again. Delivery was within the timescale i was told and i couldn't be happier. For those of you who are unsure - do yourself a favour and try it! Like me, you wont look back. I can get my purse, my phone, my keys, cigarettes in there and still have plenty space for make-up, perfume etc. Great Buy!

     I bought this bad about a month ago...and it is amazing. First of all, I love that leather smell. It makes me so happy!
     It looks great on and is sooooo convenient to use. I primarily use it when I go to concerts, and I can dance all night without my purse swinging all over the place.

     Got the idea from Burn Notice and then realized the value of have a purse on your hips with two busy boys running about. I am no longer forgetting my wallet anywhere or hitting the kids in the head when I bend to help them and my purse fall off of my shoulder! One little thing, the grommets for the belt loop holes are lifting and are very sharp metal snagging me or my purse - don't know if you guys could use something else...seems I am the only one with this complaint?!

     I have purchased a few Happy cow bags but this is the one I wear on a daily basis.
     I'm a Merchandise Coordinator, so this bag keeps my hands free and keeps me out of the eyes of the security cameras, when I have to enter sensitive areas in retail stores.
     My Happy Cow also saved me from being hurt more severely from a fall I took leaving my eye Drs... LOL

     A few moths ago I was planning a trip and was searching for the right bag meant for travel. I came across this website and found the PERFECT bag!!!
     
     I ordered it and received it much quicker than anticipated. I was able to fit everything that I would need, and then some. The quality of the leather is excellent and and the craftsmanship is superior.

     My new hip bag just arrived, and I'm so happy with it!!! If you don't like carrying bags on your shoulders, and you don't carry a lot of stuff, this is definitely the way to go. It works especially well when wrangling a toddler. And it doesn't remotely resemble one of those awful fanny packs we all remember (and still see occasionally). I was a little afraid that the bag would be too big, or too bulky or stick out, but it's just the right size, and sits smoothly against my hip without adding any bulk. There's easily room for my wallet, keys, cell phone, ipod, and a few other things without feeling overstuffed or heavy. I've been wearing it slung low over my hips, which puts the bag at the perfect distance for reaching into and out of, but I think it will work just as well worn higher up like a regular belt. FYI, Happy Cow's customer service is awesome: there was a small problem with the first bag I received, and the exchange process was very easy with no problems.

     I saw this bag on Burn Notice on Fiona and immediately wanted it. The shipping was faster than I expected, especially from Australia, and the bag is everything I expected it to be. The leather is nice and soft and the bag looks great! I get tons of compliments on it. It works over tunic tops as a low slung hip belt, and I throw it in a couple of belt loops with a casual tee when I am at school (that way the only thing I have to carry is my laptop bag).      If you need to have your hands available for your busy life, then you need this little number! I travel a good deal with what I do, and have found this hip bag surprisingly roomy, with a few other hidden compartments sprinkled in--make it useful in and out of customs, and on foreign streets; I don't fear pick pockets nor purse thieves in foreign countries/cities or in US cities anymore! I couldn't be happier that it really is a belt; looks great with jeans or any other looks you may be working or rocking for that matter.
