This Happy Cow bag is made from incredibly soft leather and has that wonderful leather smell. It is the perfect size to fit the necessities when your out and about and features a slightly contoured design for the extra feminine touch.
The actual bag features a concave-shaped bottom so it sits beautifully against whatever your wearing. The bag also features a zip pocket on the back of the bag which is inaccessible when the bag is being worn so your cash and other valuables are out of reach from prying hands.
The strap features a multiple press stud close so you know the bag is not going to fall off. The strap itself is fully adjustable by moving the metal adjuster towards or away from the pouch.

This is the second hipster bag I’ve bought, in brown, after using my black one for years. I love it, and use either one every day when I go out. For a small bag it fits a surprising amount, and I regularly carry my phone, keys, a little wallet, reading glasses and fold-up shopping bag. The bag is very stylish, and I’ve received a number of compliments when wearing it. It’s so much more convenient than a shoulder bag, you don’t have to worry about holding the strap, and everything is easily accessible. Highly recommended.

Bought in 2012 after my first kid was born so I’d have hands free to manage kids stuff while keeping essentials close. It’s still in regular use 8 years later and I get tons of compliments for its style. My only issue is the snap began coming apart a few years ago which I managed to fix with patience, several applications of superglue, and crimping the snap. Seems mostly secure now. Well worth the cost! Glad to see Happy Cow is still in business.

I have been looking for a waist bag for so long and when I learned of Happy Cow I was so excited. I was a little hesistant to order because it was international and we are always having issues with package delivery from the USPS. Thankfully it arrived safe and sound. The first thing I noticed upon opening the box was the wonderful smell of the leather, then the soft texture. The fit is wonderful and looks great with a mutlitude of outfits. More importantly it’s hands free. No more annoying purse digging into my shoulder. At times I forget I am even wearing the hipster and have to check now and then to reassure myself its still there. I’m able to carry my small wallet, cell phone, ipod, headphones, house keys and lip gloss. Surprisingly not bulky even after all of that. Needless to say I will be checking out their catalog for another selection.

Although I ordered the dark brown one, the light brown one came in the mail. Not that I’m complaining; it matches my fall boots, so it’s all good. I already owned the dark brown vintage hipster, and I wanted another one as a travel back-up. I wish you guys would bring back red. I’d love to buy that color too! Maybe I’ll just get the black one, since it’s back in stock soon. For a girl who hates purses (they’re for moms and hookers), having a couple of these hip bags is really the perfect solution. I love this bag. It is the perfect size for being on the go and still carry all my essentials. I cannot wait for this summer when I can be out and about without having to worry about what to do with my bag! It works perfect because I can barely notice its there and I don’t have to lug around a bag and worry about it tangling with anything.
As a side note, all the models that you see this on are tiny, I’m a size 16 (US) and I look fabulous in it! That is a definite plus!!

I love the Vintage Hipster. I like that it looks more like a purse than a waist pack. I was able to fit all these items in it: wallet, phone, lip balm, lotion, keys, iPod, small hairbrush, Swiss Army knife, and I was able even to tuck my eyeglasses in while I went on a roller coaster! I wish the top opened a little more widely, for ease of getting items in and out, but that is a very minor issue. This is just so cute and practical, I am going to get another one! Wearing my purse on my waist has helped ease shoulder pain immensely. Thank you!

Little did I know just how fantastic it really is! No more purse straps slipping off my rounded shoulders! No more juggling! My trip included two amusement parts and a week of hiking, horseback riding and rock climbing – this little bag was a lifesaver. It made my trip effortlessly easy and it holds a really surprising amount of things. I had a small wallet, my phone, my camera, lip balm, sunglasses, and folded maps in it most of the time and it still had a little space left without being the least bit bulky. I loved it so much that I’m going to start using it regularly whenever I don’t need the space of a big hand-bag because having both hands free is awesome. Highly recommended!
